What is the toolbox?

The toolbox shares a mixture of easy to understand content relating to social work for children and adults. It is a place that shares ideas and examples for workers who support children, families and adults can go to for ideas, information and resources if they need it.

The toolbox is a personal blog sharing insight into Lottie's journey into social work and hopes to help anyone who works with children and adults in their lives.

I have always been innovative with thinking of new ways of working and creating new ideas and resources to make information more fun and accessible for others. I was assessed in my final year of Uni and it was highlighted that I am in fact dyslexic, makes so much sense to me when thinking about my struggles with academics but my strengths of being creative and having the ability to think up new ideas very quickly. It's like my own little super power and I no longer view it as a weakness because I'm realising what I can do is amazing and it does actually help others a lot of the time, so have a look through and see if anything inspires you within your practice.

All views shared on this page are my own, I have picked up a lot of knowledge and resources along my journey and thought it would be a good way to share ideas and practices to inspire others who might just be starting off or feeling a bit stuck.
